You're entitled to PRIVACY!

When you share your thoughts, secrets, and even protected information about yourself or others, both Claude AI and ChatGPT AI train on consumer conversations by default. You can opt out, but that does not come with any contractual writing or protections whatsoever. With privateclaude.ai we present an easy to use tool that brings you complete privacy.

02 / Private mode

"Private mode" is a pinky promise.

Disabling history removes it from your sidebar. Your messages still pass through Anthropic's infrastructure and Anthropic retains access to the data. Can't and won't are not the same thing. Won't is a policy. Policies change when there's a government subpoena or a terms update buried in an email nobody reads.

03 / The API route

The API has a different contract.

Anthropic's API terms explicitly state that data sent through the API isn't used for model training. Their Data Processing Addendum (DPA), including Standard Contractual Clauses, is automatically accepted when you create an API account. View Anthropic's DPA.

Private Claude runs entirely on the API and goes further: we hold zero conversation data on our end. Nothing to breach, subpoena, or accidentally expose. Read our DPA.
